Being pregnant is the amazing feeling and is the best time to take care of yourself and the best gift you can give your infant is taking proper care of yourself and eating right thing. When you are pregnant, normally hunger strikes you between meals, but its difficult to select the right snacks as if you are not careful can lead to some serious poundage. During pregnancy sometimes you probably wont make healthy choices all the time, sometimes you just go with what you are cravings or desires, even if it might be not good for your health and your baby too. Although it is important to eat right for your growing baby, it can be hard because of crazy cravings and schedule.

Options are several for snacks like a bag of chips and a candy bar but if you go with healthy homemade snacks it can be just as quick and easy as those pre packaged options available at the market. Fruit, fruit and fruit!!! Fruits are the best option for a healthy snack. You can make different kind of items with fruits like can go with fruit salad or dipped in yogurt or can be taken as naked. These will provide you and your baby essential nutrients and also completes your cravings.

If you are craving something salty, choose nuts instead of chips, a better and healthy choice.

Want something filling and tasty, choose low fat yogurt.
